Your Partner for Hard-to-find Programmable Devices
Programmable devices typically refer to chips containing configurable logic circuits. These include Field Programmable Logic Devices (FPGAs), Complex Programmable Logic Devices (CPLD), and Programmable Logic Devices (PLD, PLA, PAL, GAL).
Programmable device components are electronic components whose function is not limited to a particular function. It can be programmed at various points in the life cycle. The programmable device is programmed at the earliest by the semiconductor supplier (standard cell, gate array), by the designer prior to assembly, or by the user in the circuit.
Programmable logic devices are ICs with a large number of ports and digital electronic circuitry that can be configured with basic software to perform a specific function or to perform a complex circuit. In contrast to logic ports, which have a fixed function, a PLD has an undefined function at the time of manufacture. Before the PLD can be used in a circuit, it must be programmed, i.e. reconfigured.
VRG Components® can source any electronic parts that are hard to find – in short supply (allocations), end of life, or have long lead times – especially programmable devices. We do this by leveraging our extensive network of carefully vetted, reliable suppliers to provide you with the right components to meet your needs.
Our goal is to supply hard-to-find, high-quality electronic components to maximize our customer’s production processes. With the ability to source components from more than 500 leading manufacturers, we can secure the programmable devices required for your project.
